On a stone staircase my eyes were healed is a visual poem based on the artists poem On a stone staircase my eyes were healed, 2022 . This is the first videography project of Pedro where he begins experimenting with text, movement and video in combination with eachother.
It is a performance of hope that is born out of human connection. Two beings whose souls are at the edge of existence regain energy for life from a sudden encounter with eachother. Human connection drains energy, just as a candle burns. But it is necessary to keep the soul alive. This visual poem is the tale of intense quick burning love as a cure for the soul
